A Gift from my Niece Liezl

My niece Liezl gave me those a Covergirl and Olay items as a Christmas gift! I really love it especially the Covergirl blush on. It's like a paste that you need to put on to your cheeks to have a radiant pink effect. She said these are one of those items that was included in her Covergirl kit that she got as a prize for a Covergirl contest. One of the best gifts received so far from my relatives. I'm teary eyed...

For My Happiness

Yesterday after I was allowed to go home four hours before my shift ends...my hubby fetched me. We were supposed to eat out but wasn't able to find a food stall that is open 24 hours so we just decided to go home. Recently, I've been feeling low maybe because I wasn't able to go out, watch a movie or even do window shopping because of monetary reasons. Me and hubby are just content in cooking our own food and watching dvd's at home. Yesterday before sleeping, I was able to read some of my old fashion magazines and I was inspired to buy those Natural Skin Care Products. Those are the types of products are made especially for sensitive skin. I was never really into beauty products but I would like to give it a shot this time as I want to feel more beautiful...maybe it would help to boost up my self confidence and make me happy again. I hope by buying stuff for myself...my happiness and passion for life would come back.

Plucking the Easy Way

I’ve been having issues with my eyebrows, it grows so fast that I need to pluck them every two to three days and yeah, it’s a pain in the butt. The usual ritual is simple, pull, wince and hope for the best. But on my case, what usually happens is most often than not, I pluck some of the wrong hairs. Haha. It makes my face look odd. Good thing, I was able to learn the right and easier way to pluck my eyebrows. To avoid overtweezing, you need to fill in brows with powder then cover the hairs that you want to remove with concealer. Check to make sure that brows are in proportion to your face then simply pluck the hairs away. It might be a more tedious process but it’s better than to be sorry. Happy Tweezing!

Looking Good

Here are some valuable tips on how to take care of yourself and your precious make ups...

1) For a sharp point on lipstick and eyeliner pencils, without as much waste, put them in the freezer for a few minutes before sharpening.

2) Revive dried up mascara by holding the close tube under hot, running water for a  few minutes. The mascara inside will soften and you'll have more to use.

Planning to Have a Baby

I'm already on my 30's and I know for a fact that sooner or later...I would need to decide whether or not to have a baby of my own. Currently, I with my hubby is already saving for the future so that just in case we already want to have our little angel maybe in a year or two - we would not have any financial problems. We would still have a convenient life when he comes. I would really want to

Sensitive Skin

If you have sensitive skin like me, I bet you are also having trouble choosing what kind of products to use . Here are some tips on how to choose the best skin products for sensitive skin:

1) Choose skin products meant specifically for sensitive skin. There are products for oily, normal or combination skin and then there are products especially meant for sensitive skin. In each of these, there will be certain ingredients that address your skin's concern.

The Lost Boy and Drug Addiction

OMG! I was shocked to know that one of the Lost Boys, Corey Haim, just died yesterday morning March 10th. I can still recall the first time I've watch the movie almost 23 years ago in 1987 with my sister, it really freaked me out and I really had difficulty sleeping that night. It's just so sad that many people thinks that his death is somehow associated with his addiction to drugs. Los Angeles police who investigated the case said that Haim died Wednesday morning of an apparent drug overdose.
His mother Judy called 911

TOO MUCH BLUSH

Mistakenly put on too much blush? Don't rub your cheeks since you'll only end up streaking the rest of your make up. Instead, lightly swirl a cotton ball over your cheeks to pick up the excess powder. Then finish off by dusting loose powder over cheeks to lessen the intensity of the color. Don't have a cotton? Try rubbing your palms together briskly (just make sure they're dry), then pat your cheeks lightly with your warmed hands to help absorb excess blush.

How To Have Beautiful Breasts

Follow these three easy strategies to keep your pair looking gorgeous.

DON'T SMOKE

Cigarette smoke can dry out the skin of your upper chest, breaking down the collagen that keeps your dermis glowing. Eventually, you may develop wrinkles as well as red spots triggered by broken blood vessels.

STAY OUT OF THE SUN

The skin of your decolletage is as sensitive as that of your face, and limited exposure (just 15 minutes if you're fair skinned) can cause brown spots, premature wrinkling, and
